In the last episode, Dr. Martin talked about dessert for breakfast and how eating cereal is exactly like that. Today he shares a lawsuit where Kellogg’s in the US has agreed to pay a $30 million fine for misleading consumers with false health claims.

Dr. Martin has been claiming for years that cereal companies have been duping the population. This is a bit of retribution, but Dr. Martin thinks the fine should be $30 billion for all the damage that has been caused.

Dr. Martin recently made a trip to the cereal aisle of a grocery store, and his findings are not good. With the amount of sugar in some of these cereals, it’s no wonder juvenile diabetes continues to be on the rise. The kids don’t have a chance!

It’s estimated that 600 million people worldwide suffer from depression. According to the CDC, from August 2020 to February 2021, anxiety or depression has increased 41.5%. Dr. Martin thinks that number is even higher!

When Dr. Martin refers to brainwashing, he’s literally talking about washing your brain. Getting rid of the debris from the energy it uses. It’s like a self-cleaning oven, but it only works when you’re sleeping.

If you’re suffering from depression or anxiety, you’re likely secreting high levels of cortisol. When this happens, you’re not sleeping properly, and your brain isn’t getting washed. This can become a major issue and Dr. Martin explains why in this episode.

Did you know that canola oil is proudly made in Canada? They call it canola oil because it’s a Canadian oil and we ship it all over the world.

In today’s episode, Dr. Martin teaches on seed oils and why you want to avoid them. The ‘hateful eight’ is the term given to the 8 worst oils for human consumption. The reason they’re so bad is because of how they’re processed.

Dr. Martin also discusses a new study that’s showing how these denatured oils are damaging your mitochondria. The little battery pack within your cells are actually being damaged from the continued consumption of seed oils!

Dr. Martin says if cows could laugh, they’d laugh at our crazy world with its nutritional insanity. They would die laughing at how the world has gone hook, line and sinker over vegetables.

We were never meant to eat just salad. Cows and rabbits are meant to eat grass because their physiology is built for that. Ours is not. If you’re only eating from the plant kingdom, you’re missing out on key nutrients that are only found in red meat.

Dr. Martin shares a study out of Denmark, where four groups of participants daily drank a liter of soda, diet soda, whole milk or water. Those who drank soda gained weight. Those who drank whole milk stayed the same weight, whereas those who drank water lost 4 pounds!

A recent study has identified nearly 300 chemicals, many in consumer products, that could increase the risk of breast cancer. This isn’t anything new and is just confirming what we already know.

Dr. Martin says we live in a completely different world with estrogen coming out of both ears! Estrogen is a growth hormone that makes a woman, a woman, and it also makes a man a woman too. Oftentimes men have more estrogen than women!

A1C is a blood test you can get done to see the progression of atherosclerosis, the buildup of plaque in your blood vessels. The higher the number, the more plaque you have.

If someone has a high A1C, doctors almost always attribute it to high cholesterol, when it’s actually blood sugar. A1C is glycated hemoglobin, and it shows the average glucose (sugar) that’s attached to the hemoglobin.

Dr. Martin says the testing of A1C is a very significant blood test as it shows if you’re on the road to diabetes or not. Join us in today’s episode, to learn why Dr. Martin loves A1C.

The vast majority of people in North America have extremely low levels of cholesterol. Contrary to what your doctor or cardiologist says, you actually want to increase your cholesterol.

Dr. Martin asks the question of why people are trying to lower their LDL when your body needs cholesterol. Your brain is made up of cholesterol. Every cell in your body has cholesterol.

An interesting study out of Boston Medical Center is showing how 50% of cancer patients were obese and 30% were already diabetics. The study shows how cancer cells and fat cells don’t like each other, or as Dr. Martin says, they’re ‘frenemies’. 

Frenemies are people who are friends but they really can’t stand each other. In this study, it was shown how the cells communicate, and how fat cells took over fat cells helping them to spread like wildfire.
