Continuing from yesterday’s episode, Dr. Martin looks at how young people are young chronologically, but they're becoming old biologically.
A lot of diseases that were considered predominantly “old man” diseases are now showing up in young people. As talked about in the last episode, kidney stones and kidney disease are showing up in far younger people than ever before.
Join Dr. Martin as he sheds more light on what’s happening to cause such rapid biological aging in our young people.
When Dr. Martin thinks of kidneys, he can’t help but think of Niagara Falls. We need to be continually flushing out our kidneys with water to prevent kidney stones.
An article Dr. Martin read is saying that kidney stones are on the rise among children and teens, and especially girls. This is totally unheard of as kidney stones were considered a disease of the middle aged white man 30 years ago.
Why is this happening? Why are so many young people developing kidney stones? Dr. Martin blames it again on sugar, and especially high fructose corn syrup. Join us on today’s episode to learn more!

Atrial fib can be a dangerous condition where the heart’s rhythm gets out of whack. It can lead to stroke and Dr. Martin says that should never be taken lightly. And now there’s a new study showing a direct link between atrial fib and low levels of omega-3!
Dr. Martin says we see so many problems with atrial fib today because of weak heart muscles. We need way more omega-3, as our ratio to omega-6 is completely out of balance. Dr. Martin explains in today’s episode.

It’s crazy to think that the average American drinks 765 grams of sugar every 5 days. It’s the equivalent of 17 cans of Coke, and it turns out that sweetened beverages increase endometrial cancer by 78%. That’s what a new study on sugar is saying.
Dr. Martin always tells his listeners to never, never drink sugar. Part of the problem is that high fructose corn syrup is used in nearly all sweetened beverages. Dr. Martin says it’s like sugar on steroids and it’s highly addictive!
At the Martin Clinic, it’s believed that the 3 seeds of disease are leaky gut, high circulating insulin and oxidation. All of these lead to inflammation which researchers would agree is the cause of disease.
Some new studies on the brain and glucose have recently been released and Dr. Martin says they are earth shattering news! It’s been discovered that those with Parkinson’s have a defect in how the brain uptakes sugar. Also, how glucose is metabolized plays a role in Alzheimer’s and those with major depression.
Join Dr. Martin as he shares these groundbreaking studies in today’s episode!
In the last episode, Dr. Martin discussed how our bodies have the ability to regenerate. Over the course of a year, we essentially get a new body.
An astute listener followed up with Dr. Martin, asking why we end up dying if our bodies regenerate. The answer is that our blood is tainted. It breaks down and oxidizes and eventually rusts us out. Dr. Martin uses the example of a speed governor on a truck to explain why we ultimately have a shelf life.
Dr. Martin also discusses studies on the microbiome. Researchers are finally making the connection that disease really does start in the gut.
Dr. Martin often reminds listeners how we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Our bodies really are incredible, and that’s evident with the regenerative abilities we all have. That’s right, our bodies regenerate!
Join Dr. Martin as he shares 7 ways our bodies regenerate, literally from head to toe. Dr. Martin also discusses the Reset, helping you understand why you should want to start making changes sooner than later.

There’s a war going on and it’s not just happening in Ukraine. It’s a war on truth, and when it comes to vitamin D there has been tremendous pushback. The pharmaceutical companies haven’t liked that physicians and researchers are saying that vitamin D may have been a huge help during the pandemic.
Dr. Martin says there are a lot of wars we’re losing. The war on cancer, we’re losing that one as cancer is worse than ever. The war on heart disease, we haven’t even made a dent. Heart disease is still the number one killer in North America.
Dr. Martin knows his listeners already see the wars happening around us, but it’s the rest of the world that’s still asleep.
